Q: I cannot install WoW Progress, the file is too big to upload!
A: WoW Progress is really big! It contains many example images which take most of the 20MB.
If you are running into the problem of installing seems to take forever or you get an error message which says "xxxxxxx bytes exceeded", this solution will help you:
To install WoW Progress, please do the following:
Unpack the archive to temporary folder to which Joomla has access to, e.g. wow_progress- Go to "Extensions" -> "Install / Uninstall"
- Enter the path to the temporary folder wow_progress in the input field below "Install from directory"
- Press the button "Install" and it will install WoW Progress to your Website
Q: Tooltips cut off / tooltips not showing properly
A: This is a template issue which can be solved in two ways.
In most cases the z-index value is too low for the column in which the WoW Progress module resides.
If this is the case, raise the z-index value of that column.
Open your template's template.css file with your favourite editor (or within Joomla's template management).
Search for the column css definitions in which your WoW Progress Module resides:
E.g.:
#rightcolumn {
z-index: 10;
}
If your tooltips still cut off, lower the z-index value of the neighboring columns.
E.g.:
#maincontent {
z-index: -10;
}
Another common fix is to let the overlapping parts, namely the tooltips of WoW Progress, display.
In css this is controlled by the keyword overflow.
Search for the column css definitions in which your WoW Progress Module resides:
E.g.:
#leftcolumn {
width: 33%;
background: #000000;
}
and add the following line:
#leftcolumn {
width: 33%;
background: #000000;
overflow: visible;
}
If there is already a line which says:
overflow: hidden;
change it to
overflow: visible;
